Lil’ Dog Rock.
Bark, bark sniff, go puppy power,
You’ll be singin’ this song in the shower.
We love Minxi, we love Daisy,
They’re so cute they drive you crazy.
Everywhere, they poo and wee,
Unashamed and full of glee.
They love to chew, they love to play,
They love to simply make your day.
They can rock it like this and they can rock it like that,
You’ll love ‘em thin and you’ll love ‘em fat.
In the garden, in the bath even lying by the harth.
We love Daisy, we love Minx, when we’re not with them our heart sinks.
Our doggies really are ‘da bomb!
We hope you liked our puppy song!

I was sent an email this morning which I found quite disturbing, You're about to discover the terrifying-truth about commercial dog food that kills thousands of dogs across the US every single day.
Any dog that eats commercial dog food is almost certain to die prematurely and by the time symptoms are noticeable, it's too late to prevent an agonizing death except by lethal injection.

Minx's sneaky little tricks.
Dachshunds are very clever little dogs, though we might not notice it, but I certainly have noticed some of the stunts which Minx has plotted and pulled.
Minx has realised that every time she does a wee or a poo in the puppy litter tray, she gets a treat so she has started to get our attention then run to the litter tray, coopy down and pretend to have a wee. She then (thinking we've been fooled) looks up expectingly as if to say " where's my treat?" At first we fell for it but soon we realised that the little Minx was tricking us. Another toilet trick the cheeky minx does is when she goes to the litter tray and only does half the poo so of course we reward her for doing a poo and then after she's eaten the treat she does the rest of the poo and we think she's done another seperate poo and reward her again. So the little Minx has just got herself two treats.

Puppy Classes For Daisy Dapple And The Minx
Every thursday night we take Minx and Daisy to puppy training classes. Daisy and Minx enjoy it very much because there are other puppies there that they can interact and make friends with.
Training Minx is hard because you can't get her attention by sound or give her a command word. But we are learning puppy signing and since most dogs respond to body language anyway, this is proving effective with Minx. However I still find training Daisy Dapple easier so she's the dog that choose to train in classes. Leaving the hard work to my mom and my brother!

This Blog is about my little dogs - Daisy and Minx. They are minature Dachshunds, little sausage dogs with silver dapples.
Daisy is a black and tan with silver dapples sploged about her little sausage body and Minx is an extremely rare double dapple with five different colours on her coat. Unfortunately Minx is as deaf as a door post, but makes up for it with her beautiful blue eyes and adventurous personality, Minx by name and Minx by nature. What do Dachshunds eat?....... What don't Dashshunds eat? Even Habenero Tabasco which was painted onto the walls to deter them from chewing the plaster. They seemed to enjoy Mexican food so we resorted to good old Colemans English mustard which seemed to do the trick, They now prefer to lick their bottoms.

Daisy dapple is a little brown mouse of a dog and likes nothing more than to be babied. She would let you dress her up in your finest baby dolly clothes with a frilly hat. She would happily jump into a pram and let you push her around until she fell asleep. Ooooh its a dogs life!!!

Minx is a sweet little pooch with bucket loads of personality who has not the faintest clue that she is deaf as she was born like that. Little dog, big personality. Minx is certainly the independent one and thinks she's queen.
